Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" 1967 flyer for a "bead drive", sponsored by Country Joe & the Fish. Artist unknown (printed by the Communications Company (AKA the Diggers), it reads: "Country Joe and the Fish would dig to have beads to give to kids as they drive east thru Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and England- send them to Country Joe and the Fish PO Box 2233 Berkeley California- Hippie Culture- Show A Kindness- Do It Now- Send them before May 31st because that's when they split- Printed by the Communication Company- F*#k for Peace" Medium-thin flat vellum stock flyer is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a few well-hidden pinch dings scattered around the image/border area, a bit of light inking along the top margin, a couple of soft corner tip bends and a very soft diagonal bend in the lower left corner, it is a SUPERB example of this absolutely fascinating and weird 1967 Country Joe artifact.
