Original 1st printing 14 x 22&1/8" boxing-style poster for the Patti Smith Group appearing at the Oakland (CA) Auditorium on 7/29/1979.

 Design by Colby Poster Printing Co. (for Bill Graham Presents), thick cardboard stock letterpress poster is in good (B) condition; there are several sets of staple holes scattered around the outer margin area, along with a moderate amount of surface wear (numerous tiny dirt smudges, small bends/scrapes, etc.), a couple of small edge tears/nicks scattered around the outer margin area, a thin horizontal bend traversing the left half of "SMITH" and another going through the line of stars between "GROUP" and the date and a couple of minor corner tip bumps, otherwise fine.
