Original 1st printing 16&1/2 x 21&1/2" (trimmed on all four size from 17&1/2 x 23") Hells Angels San Francisco chapter benefit* concert poster, for a show featuring appearances by the Grateful Dead, Cleveland Wrecking Company and Ice (and possibly Santana), held at Longshoreman's Hall in San Francisco, CA on 7/16/1969. Designer unknown, this show was a benefit/memorial for then-recently-deceased HAMC member Gino Heineke (who was killed by members of a rival club). Thick glossy-coated stock poster is in used (C+) condition; aside from the aforementioned edge trimming, there are tack holes in each corner, a series of light handling dings/stress creases scattered around the image area, a couple of soft horizontal roll bends, a bit of edge/corner wear and a few tiny pin-prick age/moisture spots scattered around the edges, otherwise OK. While this example may not sit at the top of the conditional heap, it is still a VERY hard-to-find HAMC/Grateful Dead image from 1969.
