Set of three (3) original 10 x 11&3/4" film transparencies/overlays (red/blue/yellow passes of ink, one each), along with an original 6&3/4 x 10&3/4" concert flyer for Jefferson Airplane appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service and Country Joe & the Fish at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 2/5/1967 (*strike benefit).
Art by Allen "Gut" Turk, image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series (this event falls on the same date as the final date of the BG 48 run of shows), and is featured on page 156 of the Art of Rock book (plate 2.87).
The transparencies (all on thin plastic) exhibit typical signs of press room wear- surface wear/scratches, tiny bits of masking paper residue, but considering what they are (a 50+year-old set of unique press materials), the damage/wear is mostly negligible.
Thin flat stock flyer is in BEAUTIFUL near mint (A-/B+) condition; just a few tiny pin-prick spots along the lower right margin and a touch of handling wear, otherwise fine.
ULTRA-COOL one-of-a-kind set of Fillmore items from early '67!
