Original 1st printing 17 x 22" concert poster for Van Morrison appearing with the J. Geils Band and Peter Johnson at Symphony Hall in Boston, MA on 12/18/1970. Designer unknown/not credited (maybe Metropolitan Showprint, not sure), medium-thin flat index stock poster is in decent/used (B/B-to B-) condition; the poster is printed WAY off-register (the entire image is tilted several degrees to the right, which cuts off all of the borders (including a line of type along the bottom edge) at very irregular angles, although the image area is intact. Additionally, there are a series of hard horizontal creases, a set of large wedge-pull holes in all four corners, a few stray staple holes hiding within the image area, light creasing/handling wear and a few tiny edge bends/nips scattered around the image area, otherwise fine. While the condition/print registration on this example leaves a little to be desired, it is still a pretty cool one-off late-'70 Symphony Hall poster that was obviously pulled down from public display at the time of the shows.
