Collection of four (4) original 1st printing approximately 4&1/4 x 7&1/2" thin flat vellum stock concert postcards for a series of Russ Gibb-produced 1968 shows held at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI (all feature art by Carl Lundgren, except for RGP 122, which is by Donnie Dope).
The set includes the following cards: Ten Years After/Rationals/Dave Workman Band/Orange Fuzz (RGP 107), John Mayall/Psychedelic Stooges (RGP 108), Jeff Beck/Toad/Joyful Wisdom/McKenna Mendelseon (RGP 115) and Deep Purple/Lee Michaels/James Cotton (RGP 122).
Thin flat vellum stock cards are all in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition overall- the Mayall card has a perforated left margin (it was originally attached to RGP 109 as a pair) and there is a tiny discoloration in the bottom right corner tip of the Beck card, but otherwise the set is REALLY sharp-looking.
FANTASTIC little introductory collection of original Grande Ballroom postcards, this set highlights British-based rock acts.
