Original 1st printing 20 x 26" 1986 hand-pulled embossed (by Stanley Mouse) silkscreen art poster for the Grateful Dead.

 Art by (and SIGNED and marked A/P (artist's proof) 1/20 in pencil by) Rick Griffin, thick flat oak-tag (22.5 rag stock) silkscreen poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a thin 14" mounting tape pull on the reverse top margin, a couple of ultra-soft pin-prick age spots just above California's northern border (upper left corner) and a trace of edge wear, otherwise fine. This particular version has a metallic gold yellow pass of ink within the California state outline (I have also seen brown and mustard yellow versions), I was told that the colors vary within the run.

 Originally produced in late 1986 to coincide with the opening of Psychedelic Solution Gallery in NYC (the image is # 4 in the PS/Psychedelic Solution series), the print run was initially intended to include 500 units- less than 200 of them were actually completed/signed/numbered.
