Original 1st printing 14 x 8&1/2" concert/event mini-poster for the Aquarian Family Festival, a free "counterpart" festival that took place from 5/23-24/1969 at the San Jose (CA) State practice field (now San Jose Municipal Stadium).

 Design by Rich Charter, bands/acts listed include: the Sons of Champlin, Ace of Cups, Womb, Linn County, Allmen Joy, Throckmorton, Tree of Life, Weird Herald, Crow, Birth, Beggar's Opera, Cleanliness and Godliness Skiffle Band, Lamb, Joy of Cooking, Frumious Bandersnatch, Morning Glory, Mad River and MANY more. Not listed (an unannounced surprise guest set): Jefferson Airplane. (*confirmed, see link below)

 Medium- thin flat index stock mini-poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a touch of handling wear and a couple of thin diagonal bends in the upper right margin/corner, this example is just about as clean as they come. 

 INCREDIBLY scarce/uncommon item from a fairly obscure (but still very interesting) event that was organized as a free "alternative" event to the much larger, more publicized (ticketed) Northern California Folk-Rock Festival that was being held roughly a mile away at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. In addition to the surprise Jefferson Airplane set, Jimi Hendrix came by to play after his set at the NCFRF, but the stage was already being dismantled by the time he got there.
