Original 1st printing 5&1/4 x 6&5/8" concert handbill for the Grass Roots (the 1st version of the band) appearing with Daily Flash and Sopwith Camel (*7/1-2 only) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 7/1-3/1966.

 Art by Wes Wilson (handbill omits the central image of Salvador Dali by Philippe Halsman), image ("Wonderland") is # 15 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.

 Thin flat stock handbill is in BEAUTIFUL near mint (A-/B+) condition; aside from a tiny scuff in the upper left margin, a hint of edge wear a few light handling dings, it is an absolutely SUPERB-looking example of this VERY early FD handbill.
