Original 1st printing (Bindweed Press) 14&1/8 x 19&7/8" concert/event poster for "THIS IS IT- Psychedelic Happenings Are Here", a show held at the Regency Ballroom of the Leamington Hotel in Oakland, CA on 2/10/1967, featuring appearances by the Sparrow (an early version of Steppenwolf), along with the Immediate Family, the Wildflower and the Living Children.

 

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Stanley Mouse (with Alton Kelley), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 211 (plate 2.261).

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in BEAUTIFUL near mint (A-) condition; there is a VERY small print imperfection in the lower left corner of the image area (likely a tiny droplet of moisture from the press) and a trace of handling/edge wear, otherwise it is an absolutely SUPERB-looking ARTIST-SIGNED 1st printing example of this classic 1967 Mouse/Kelley poster from a fairly obscure Oakland event.
