Original 1st printing 34&1/8 x 22&1/2" concert/event poster for the second Isle of Wight Festival of Music, held in Woodside Bay on the Isle of Wight off the coast of Southern England from 8/29-31/1969. Poster lists appearances by Bob Dylan and the Band, The Who, the Moody Blues, Fat Mattress, Bonzo Dog Band, Family, Free, the Pretty Things, Marsha Hunt & White Trash, Battered Ornaments, Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, Blodwyn Pig, Gypsy, Blonde on Blonde, Edgar Broughton Band, King Crimson, Richie Havens, Tom Paxton, Pentangle, Julie Felix, Gary Farr, Liverpool Scene, Third Ear Band and Indo-Jazz Fusions. Design by Dave Roe, extra-thin flat "fly-posting" (rough/tacky reverse) vellum stock silkscreen poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a few tiny crinkle creases scattered around the outer edges, along with a light amount of handling wear, a couple of thin diagonal bends in the upper/lower right corners and a couple of light surface scuffs hiding within the image area, otherwise fine. REALLY cool-looking Bob Dylan item from his last public concert appearance of the 1960's.
