Original 1st printing tri-fold 8&1/2 x 11" schedule/mailer ("Kaleidoscoop") listing performances/film showings held at the Kaleidoscope in Los Angeles, CA from 6/7-7/21/1968. Item also lists several concerts associated with corresponding Kaleidoscope posters, including the Easter Special with Canned Heat, the Fever Tree, Don Ellis (also the featured musical act for the "Film Orgy"), Love/Rhinoceros/Taj Mahal, Byrds/Crazy World of Arthur Brown/Frumious Bandersnatch, Electric Flag/Smokestack Lightnin'/Illinois Speed Press, Sly & the Family Stone and Big Brother and the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) along with film classics "Doctor Strangelove", "Black Orpheus", "Zulu" and more. Thin flat stock mailer is in mint/near mint (A/A-) condition; a VERY clean example of an extremely obscure item from the Kaleidoscope, especially from a historic/cultural viewpoint. Apparently all of the concerts (over a certain period) were accompanied by films, making the club a bit more of an all-encompassing entertainment experience. I was previously not aware that film played such a large part of the Kaleidoscope experience, but seeing as the venue was located right in the heart of Hollywood, it certainly makes sense.
