Original 1st printing 13&5/8 x 19&1/8" concert poster Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band appearing with the Chocolate Watchband, the Great Pumpkin and the Good News* (not listed, they were "auditioning" for Bill Graham) at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 10/28-30/1966.

 Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is an ultra-thin hairline diagonal bend (about 8" long) traversing the "Captain Beefheart" lettering in the upper right corner, along with a tiny set of staple holes, a touch of toning, a few light handling dings, a hint of edge wear and a few tiny areas of ink streaking within the image area, otherwise fine.

 

 An overall GREAT-looking example of this early (1966) 1st printing Fillmore poster.
